THE IDEA
My project is an interactive donut-shaped lamp that has a moving black opaque layer positioned directly in front of the light .
The lamp has four push buttons two for controlling the led lights to turn them on and of in a sequential circular movement and two other push buttons for controlling the rational angle of the curtain.
The main key features of the lamp :
- User can control the density of the light source. ( As shown in the slide )
- User can control the angle of the light source by controlling the curtain movement. ( As shown in the slide )
LICENCES
However, Since we are living in the age of 3D printing and digital fabrication where anyone can make easily anything in few clicks I would like to make my project an open source project and to let other users access my project files free of charge in order to make their own lamps and develop this idea as long as I'm credited at the same license, So based on that I choose a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)
Under this lisiance users are free to: share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format Under the following terms:
Attribution : Users must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. They may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses them or their use.
NonCommercial — End useres may not use the material for commercial purposes.
NoDerivatives : If useres remix, transform, or build upon the material, they may not distribute the modified material.

INCOME
At this stage the idea is still underdevelopment I do not have any business plan and feasibility study ready yet because of two reasons 1st I started this project as a concept design and my design is not based on market research and 2nd reason is that the purpose of this project is to demonstrate the awesome things I learn during Fab Academy.
In addition to that, for me the purpose of this open source project is to build value and to build a bigger make community rather than making money and this is the reason why I want to share the original files for this project totally free of charge with other markers, designers and hobbyists .
